Why is there so much of static on my expensive radio tuner when a cheap transistor radio has non at all?
I can never get rid of static noise on my kenwood tuner (non integrated) but my cheap radio clock has non at all?What should i do do get rid of that static noise?Im using a 75 ohm cable.Should i use 300 ohm?Any type of good antenas ?
If it is static (rather than mains hum etc) then the "problem" is that your Kenwood is too sensitive - and is able to receive feint signals (and static) that your cheapo radio is completely deaf to.
Sadly a lot of folks find this - and wrongly assume the superior bit of kit is not much cop. If you want, you could try an attenuator, not expensive and it will "deafen" the unit a little for you. If the signals you want are good and strong, this might be a simple fix.
