lOOKING FOR A ROUGH VALUE.?
Model 1894 30 wcf. operates and shoots well. Ser# 91xxx. Bluing 50% wood aged but nice. Butt plate and pistol grip cap (bakelite)both labeled win rep arms. Gun was purchased in 35 by grandfather and the barrel had been replaced 5 yrs prior. still hunt with this rifle . Just curious of a value.
You should be able to get a very good idea of your rifle and its value at. http://www.gunbroker.com you have 2 options on GB you can search current auctions for similar guns to yours or you can use the search feature "going-going-gone" and search for your model that has been up for sale in the past 90 days...
Another good site is http://www.gunsamerica.com this site is like the classified adds, rather than an auction site...Again use the search feature to find your model.
What you want to look for is, rifles in similar condition as yours, and ones which have actually sold on gunbroker..On gunsamerica you can use the asking price as a guide, but asking is not the same as selling price..
I just checked GB, they have at least 50 1894 Winchesters up for auction..I would think there would have been hundreds up for sale in the past 90 days...You should be able to find several similar to yours...Good Luck...
