Does anyone know why a lot of headphones have unequal lengths of wire to each ear?
where the wire splits to go to each ear, the wires at either side of the split are completely different in length. whats the point? i'm sure headphones used to have equal lengths after the split so the wire would hang symmetrically
If you have an iPod/MP3player/CD player etc. on one side of you in a pocket or a bag or something then one of the wires would have to be longer to reach the other side of your head. I think so anyway. Good question, have a star! =)
